Big Dance Company Spring news

 

We are excited to confirm that Our Big Dance Company Annual Show ‘Show Off” will be held at St Johns Hall in Penzance. This will give all the students an opportunity to show off their new skills and choreography that they have been learning in class.

Dates:  Full School production on Friday 12^th July 7-9pm and Saturday 13^th July 1-3pm All classes will be performing.

There will be an elite performance on Saturday 13^th 7-9pm, which will include, Teams, commercial performance and lyrical classes, advanced ballet and teacher performances and a few surprises.

 

All dancers will be required for dress rehearsals on Thursday 11^th July at St Johns Hall.

It is very important that between this time you/your child does not miss class as it will effect your place and others in the show. You will also fall behind on the routines.

Costume list and more times /details will be available from your teacher next month.

 

Tickets available from office from May 20^th

£8 adult £6 child and £5 Saturday Matinee.

 

We hope that you can come and support these talented young people and will help spread the word.

If you can offer any help backstage or on refreshments or bar please let ben know at the office. Also we welcome any raffle prizes.

Royal Cornwall Show – Saturday 8^th June -Debut, TRC, NU Flava, James Bond

Shine _ Hip hop Championships Sunday 21^st July in Torquay Town hall. ALL TEAMS  – There will be a coach for this §event please book your place ASAP.  You can register online.

This is It Summer School – Flava/BDC summer school age 6 to adult      July 29^th – 2^nd August – Dance, singing, confidence building, performance, Craft making, day trip to beach and show production at the end of the week. Only 5 places left – All Hosted at BDC studios 9-4pm daily – Goody pack on joining includes DVD of week, Music for week, Lanyard. Show T-shirt, Stickers, Bag. Book your place at the office now J

Open Intensive Hip Hop summer school with Philippines group N2i –

Under 14’s Mon 12^th August – Weds 14^th 10-6pm and over 14’s Thursday 15^th to Saturday 17^th August  £75 each inclusive paid by end of May 2013

 

We are excited to announce that we have been funded to refurbish our studios in half term in May, we need some help with painting over the week to meet the deadline of 1^st of June as got to dance winner Lukas Macfarlane will be opening it.
