Sweet Flava

 
Sweet Flava are a group of very talented dancers aged between 9 and 15, they have been training with Fiona Richardson at The Big Dance Company for 3 years. They were launched at the same time as their big brothers and sisters of dance, Flava, known for their success on Britains Got Talent. The group train together weekly with Fiona learning skills in not just dance, but team building and other skills you learn every week without even knowing it, such as self motivation, respect, and courage. The group perform at any opportunity and Fiona is always scouring the Internet to find new experiences to get them involved in, this year they have been to Los Angeles dancing at the Dance Excellence awards, competing all over the country at prestigeous competitions including the World Championship,s where they finished 2nd and winning the west coast of england championships! Member Ella Gilling is currently West Coast of England, Wales and British under 12 champion and finished 4th at the World Hip Hop Championships, all members make finals at these competitions, and are ALL individually talented in many styles.
 

Ella also appeared in music video 'Can't stop' with Jason Phats and Flava and the group have just performed at their first audition for Britain's Got Talent hoping to follow in the footsteps of their role models FLAVA. They also won this years Cornwall's Got Talent, with the prize money helping them with costumes for the World Championships. I hope that the team get an opportunity to get to the live audience of Britain's Got Talent so they get to perform on that fantastic stage. Winning the competition is not in our mind set,I always think that putting on a good performance that you are happy with inside and the experience you can take from it is more important than winning any competition. Flava could not have dreamed of the offers and response that they got from just their first appearance on TV, and we would have been more than happy with as far as we got, the semi final live show was an extra special magical experience. Sweet Flava have big plans, with their new website being under construction and personal merchandise and postcards being produced for them. I want the team to start to learn about self promotion and be ready for any opportunity that might come their way. Even if they do not get recalled on the ITV show , i know that lots of exciting opportunities will find their way to them anyway as they are all infectious characters and have big ambitions"
